How often should I bring my car for maintenance?

How often do I need to change the engine oil?
To find out the solution to this question, consult your owner’s manual. What Honda suggests for your newer models is that your car must be at least 7500 miles driven to before the next oil change. For example, the 2016 Civic’s manual recommends changing oil every 7,500 miles or 12 months. Oil changes every 3,000-5,000 miles are still recommended for older Honda owners. Because your engine is older, it will have more wear, corrosion, and grime on it.
